Set 20 – 10-1/2 blocks 4 wide x 5 long.
No batting is used.
Cut each tie a strip of fabric long (42”-44”) by 3” wide, fold in the
edges and
then fold down the center and sew.
Place the ties about 11 inches down from the top.
Fold the tie in half and put the ties between the edges inside before
you sew
around the outside to make a quick turn.
The backing can be a solid piece of fabric.
Sew in the ditch after turning and then sew around the edge to both
finish it
off and anchor the ties.
Variation: make a 4-patch
out of some of the 10-1/2” blocks.
